We invite you to be a part of Theron Jones Early Literacy Center. We have high academic and behavioral expectations for our students. We will provide a safe and secure learning environment that will allow students to become leaders in the school, community and society.
We look forward to partnering with our students, parents, and community members as we forge ahead into the 2022-23 school year!

21st Century Skills
-
Theron Jones Early Literacy uses a systematic approach to teaching the core subjects of reading, math and science, which are enhanced through the use of technology. At Theron Jones Early Literacy Center, we recognize the importance of academics, but we also recognize the need to educate the whole child – touching the comprehensive, social, emotional and physical development of children from widely diverse backgrounds.
As a "Leader in Me" Lighthouse School, we work with our parents and community to provide many opportunities for our students to discover their talents and find their genius. It is those talents and skills that will allow them to become successful 21st century leaders both at school and in their communities.
Goals
-
- Develop student and adult leaders by implementing the Leader in Me philosophy.
- Increase literacy and math skills at all grade levels.

- Maintain a 96% or better student attendance rate.
