Providing our youngest students with a great start to their education, Dunbar Early Education Center integrates a STEAM-based curriculum for our three- and four-year-old students. This effort emphasizes hands-on activities for the acquisition of 21st century skills and enriches the students' overall academic experience; thus, transforming classrooms into academic environments where students contribute directly to solving problems. We empower students to pursue their individual interests while learning to work cooperatively with their peers. Our partnership with Head Start offers a full-day Pre-Kindergarten engaging curriculum for early learners.

- 85% or more of 4-year-olds developed according to state guidelines.
- 90% or better student daily attendance rate.
- Outstanding staff, parent, and community relations.
- Safe and self-regulated school environment with emphasis on developing positive character traits.
