All students registering or enrolled in TISD are required by the Texas Department of State Health Services to have a Certified Immunization Record (Dtap or Tdap, Polio, Hepatitis B, HIB, PCV, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis A and Meningococcal) from a physician or other public health personnel.

The TISD Tiger Clinic provides immunizations only to enrolled students that fall within one of the following categories as determined by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

• Enrolled in Medicaid
• Be an American Indian or an Alaskan native
• Does Not have Health Insurance
• or, Has Private Health Insurance that does not cover Immunizations
