Enrollment
-
Any student who is new to Texarkana Independent School District or who did not complete the prior school year in a TISD school is REQUIRED to complete the registration process. Information and forms can be found in the left-hand links.
All students who have a language other than English (or in addition to English) listed on the Home Language Survey will be directed to the TISD Testing Center to proceed with state-mandated testing to determine language proficiency, program placement and to continue with the enrollment process. A student is assessed by trained testing personnel who utilize assessment from the Texas Education Agency List of Approved Tests for Assessment Limited English Proficient (LEP) Students.
You may enroll at your nearest TISD campus or visit our District Office. We are available to assist you through the registration process and look forward to you and your student becoming a member of the TISD Tiger Family!
